Did not receive refund

i ordered a steam cleaner on 1/1/2013.id # 495681****. the item was returned specifically in accordance with the return policy and procedures. i was given ra# 021113vs493. i have yet to receive my refund. i wrote the company three times providing all necessary information including the ups shipping receipt. i phoned the company six times and emailed the company four times. my return transction was well within their no risk 30 day money back guarantee. i incurred a return shipping charge of $47.58 . i could not be more upset with this company and their lack of response to my refund. i will be submitting a complaint to their states attorney general if the refund is not recd. within 7 days of this posting.

No refund - Why

I returned the product in the 30 day period. I was told my refund had been credited to my credit card. Over 15 business days later, my credit card company still has not received it yet, SteamCleaner Plus is not responding to my emails asking for proof of my refund. I looked them up on the Utah BBB and apparently this is standard practice for them. They are the only company I have ever seen where you have to send your review to their customer service department, no wonder why there are no bad reviews on the site, they don't post them

STEAM CLEANERS PLUS-Returned product, per instructions but no refund yet!

I bought my Vapor Storm Steam Cleaner on 8-29-12. I did receive it, but don’t remember the exact date. The box was pretty messed up and holes in it. I opened the box and looked at the unit…never took it out of the box, but did look at some of the pads and etc. I did notice that the unit had water drop stains on it. I never did get to use the Vapor Storm since I was having some health issues. I decided to return it and I wrote to SteamCleaners.com telling them I needed to return it. They did get back to me quickly with instructions on returning it. I followed the instructions and sent it back UPS and it got to them within the 30 days. They received the unit and I was to get a refund within 21 days. I wrote to them asking about my refund, since there was no credit on my Visa and they said they had sent me a check on Sept. 20th. They me to confirm my address and they would do a stop payment on the check and send me another one. I confirmed my address and etc. and nothing has been received from them. I have written frequently asking about the status and have had no reply since the Oct. 30th reply about the check. I am out $254.90, plus it cost me $19.53 to return the unit. I talked to my Visa customer service a week or so ago on another matter and casually asked them about this. I think I can go through them to see if they can do something. I also bought insurance through UPS when I returned it, but don’t know if I can go that way since I have a receipt where they did deliver the unit to Steam Cleaners Plus facility. From what I’ve read here from others re: Steam Cleaners Plus, I’m going to call my Credit Card Co. with an official complaint. Steam Cleaners Plus has the worst customer service. I have ordered many times online from many companies, but this is the worst! I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy!

UPDATE: I filled out a complaint with the BBB in UT on February 28, 2013. As of yet, I haven't heard anything. I just checked on my case with the BBB and the company has until 3-19-13 (which is today) to respond to the complaint. I will update what happens next.

When I went to BBB to report a complaint, I checked the rating of this company and it's a big fat "F"! I wish I had checked before I purchased from them. Now I know to check before purchasing from a new 'online' company.

Is anyone surprised at their rating??? :(

I ordered a steam-dart steam cleaner online from Steam Cleaners Plus. I received an e-mail stating that the item I ordered was out of stock but they would substitute a much nicer model (Vapor Steam) for the one I ordered. The one thing they didn't tell me is that it was a used item and the switch was broken on it. They knew just what they were sending me and when I received it I did not use it right away because my mother was diagnosed with cancer and I had to move it with her to take care of her. Once she passed away (two months later) I took the Vapor Steam out of the box and noticed it was used and the on/off switch was broken. I e-mailed customer service and they didn't have the courtesy to e-mail me back. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!

Oh, my goodness. I'm glad I never took mine out of the box...but, did see evidence of water drops on it.

I suspected the one I got was used, and your comment confirms that it probably was used. I wish I had check out this site before I ordered mine.

No steamcleaner!! No refund!!!

These people are shameless thieves, ordered a $350.00 steam cleaner from these crooks, after a week of no email order confirmation i contacted them, of course their reply was: Me, Below is a copy of the email that was sent to you at the time of your order. I also have a vapor storm vs 200 and have repeatedly called the company but to no avail. I cannot get accessory parts needed even though the actual boiler unit works.

I have had this unit for at least 4 or more years. I paid about 299. for that unit and would like to be able to use it.

It also says that is a

Mainline product. Does anyone know where I can get either their accessories for this unit or have something retrofitted so I can use my steamer?

I am also the owner of a vapor storm VS-200 bought two years ago at SteamcleanersPlus in Clinton, Utah ph 801.388.2816. I have been trying to contact the selling company through phone calls and emails to no avail.

No call back or anything. Something broke in the gun which now makes the steam hissing out by the trigger. I just found out through the testimonials that the selling company does nit exist anymore.

Where can I get replacement parts ? Thank you.

Or should I contemplate buying a new steamer and if so, which one ?

Do what I did. Since you have to pay for this online, I contacted my credit card company and told the problem I was having with the company and they credited back my account and fought with the company.

Steam Cleaners Plus - *** Customer Service

I've been waiting 4 months for product from this company and communication from them has been inconsistent and unprofessional. (I'm being nice.) I ordered from them in March, heard nothing for over a month. When I wrote telling them I was getting nervous, they responded snippily, suggesting that they had been sending me status updates (thus implying that I had either missed them or was lying by claiming to have never seen them, right?) and that my steamer should arrive within three weeks. Yeeahh, two months later and no contact so I wrote to them. No response. Finally this morning I flipped out and wrote threatening to file a fraud claim with PayPal. Surprise, surprise, they responded within a couple of hours. Again though, the tone was *** They've promised shipping by Wednesday, but I'll believe it when I see it. Right now it appears that I am going to be out $350. But hey, at least I got a giant headache out of it. Avoid this company. Seriously.
